The Ghostwriter: A Workhorse That Never Sleeps
The Ghostwriter is the nation’s best-known and premier autopen machine, and the Ghostwriter T Series is our current
line of manual feed machines. This Ghostwriter is lightweight and compact, has a footprint that is 18 by 18 inches, and weighs
only 15 pounds. It is small enough to be placed on a table for convenient use or put on a shelf for easy storage. It’s a workhorse machine
that will sign all day long and never get writer’s cramp while providing state-of-the-art signature reproduction on all your letters, certificates,
diplomas, photographs, cards, …the list is endless.
The Ghostwriter uses any writing instrument such as ballpoint, felt-tip, permanent markers, fountain pens, calligraphy pens,
pencils…even crayons, and signs or writes on a variety of sizes and thickness materials. Each machine features auto-rewrite,
adjustable pen pressure, speed adjustment and a 4 by 6-inch signing production area. A foot pedal and light board are included with
each machine.
Ghostwriter models use a signature smart card or USB flash drive to store signatures and phrases. The signature smart card stores
one signature (writing) file per card and multiple signature files can be stored on the USB flash drive. As restricted access to your signature file
is important, the dual storage system has built-in security features which allow you to know who has access to what signature files. Advanced security options track machine activity by user.
Signature files can be transferred from the smart card reader to the USB flash drive directly on the Ghostwriter. Emailed signature files may also be saved on a USB flash drive from a computer.
These encrypted files can also be backed up to a PC to prevent loss. With standard password protection and other optional security features, the most important people in the world know their signatures are secure with the Ghostwriter.
To operate the Ghostwriter, press the “Pen Setup” button, insert the pen in the holder, tighten, and press enter. Then, place a piece of paper over the signing area and press the foot pedal or “sign once button”. Voila! You have signed a signature.
